Bryan Boult is Head of Environment Futures and Sustainability at Hampshire County Council. He is a Chartered Town Planner with over 30 years experience covering a wide range of environmental issues and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. He is a member of the South East England Natural Resources and Climate Change Advisory Group.
He led 2 Life Projects in the New Forest looking at Habitats and Water Framework Directive implementation issues. He also led the ESPACE partnership looking at climate change and spatial planning and was on the project board of BRANCH which looked at planning for biodiversity and climate change. Both of these were Interreg IIIB projects.
He was a member of the Expert Group advising DG Environment on the Thematic Strategy on the Urban Environment and was an adviser to DG Environment for the preparation of the Green Paper on Climate Change Adaptation. He is part of an Expert Network advising the European Environment Agency on Climate Change and is a member of the Peer Review College of the UK’s Natural Environment Research Council. << back
